Use 8’’W material inside building.

Use 12’’W material outside building.

For best seal, when possible, install PVC Strip Doors, One foot wider and one foot higher than clear opening. By going one foot higher, loads and people will pass through easier.

When choosing overlap consider the height of the PVC Strip Door. The higher you go the more overlap is required for a good seal.

When choosing hardware, select Universal or HD Aluminium for all industrial applications. For Residential, Commercial use, medium duty plastic can be utilized to save money. All hardware has a lifetime warranty.

After install, cut strips so they don’t touch the ground. 2 weeks later, go back and make the final cut. Some will have stretched. Never let the PVC Strip touch the floor. Keep approximately 1/2’’ from floor. This allows the door to work as designed.

RULE OF THUMB – Go 1’W and 1’H, overall size 9’W x 9’H

At 9’ overall height, we recommend a 100% overlap.

For this example, the chart above reads you need 26 strips – 8’’W.

1 – Bulk roll 8’’W x 150’ will create 16 strips – 9’L ( 150’L / 9’L = 16.66 )
